Overview

Simmeros (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a cooking workspace operated at simmeros.com. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is used solely to operate the service.

What We Collect

• —Email address — used for authentication and account communications.
• —Recipes you import — stored in your account so you can cook them anytime.
• —Cooking sessions — timestamps, duration, and optional ratings/notes you provide.
• —AI assistant queries — cooking questions you ask are sent to our AI provider to generate answers, then cached to improve response times.
• —Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID, never your card details.
• —Basic analytics — anonymous pageview data collected via Google Analytics to understand how the product is used.

Service Providers

We use a limited number of third-party services strictly to operate Simmeros. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it:

• —Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• —Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
• —OpenAI — powers the AI cooking assistant. Recipe content and your questions are sent to generate answers. No personal identifiers are included.
• —Resend — transactional email delivery.
• —Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. No personal data is shared with Google for advertising.
• —Vercel — application hosting.

What We Do Not Do

• —We do not sell your data.
• —We do not share your data with advertisers.
• —We do not use your data to train AI models.
• —We do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (managed by Supabase authentication). Google Analytics sets its own cookies for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data Retention

Your recipes, cooking sessions, and account data are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@simmeros.com.

Children

Simmeros is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application. Continued use of Simmeros after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
